Kaybees Bits

Nearly A View

Today was an afternoon tea at Loch Lomond (Christmas present from Bags).
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great and the drive there and back wasn't very enjoyable either.
I had been hoping to get some decent pictures, but .........
The other side of the Loch and the islands kept coming and going - assisted by the strong wind.
Unsurprisingly, there were no boat tours on the go. Not that anyone could have got to the end of the jetty due to the very high water level leaving a deep and rather wide gap between the shore and the jetties ... apart from the one that was closed due to repair work going on.
The effect of the wind can be seen in one of the shots where one side of the jetty has rather choppy weather and the other side flat calm.

We came home via The Bridge of Allan (outside Stirling) where we stopped at my sisters new residence. Luckily she arrived home after walking the dog just as SWMBO got out to ring the bell.
It is hardly a case of 'downsizing' - the place is huge and has direct line of sight the Stirling Castle (when the rain isn't blocking the view).

4 Pictures over Here (posted in reverse order - all taken with the infrared camera.
