And so the season starts...

...despite the chilly temperatures...

Nary a parking place to be had in Tynemouth this morning, and even the deckchairs had some takers today! The beach balls and buckets & spades were all displayed, and the surfers were bobbing about too ;) 
A sunny day at the coast....
We had a walk after coffee time, a spot of lunch then headed for home.

Two "Happy Valley" episodes to cram in before tonight's finale - can't risk finding out the outcome before we've watched it!
