Thick walls...

...and a broken gatepost on the dam wall...

Wandered out for a stroll round the block at about 4pm to see what I could find for the "thick" theme. We had thick coats on, and there was plenty of thick mud on our route, but I settled for the wall and huge capping stone above the reservoir overflow...

The gatepost has become detached from the wall and twisted, so I'm guessing the gate won't stay upright for too much longer.

Still rather damp and windy, but my cold doesn't seem to have progressed too far, so fingers crossed it doesn't turn into the 100 day cough that everyone is talking about!!
