Henry Moore…

… over Paris—or, more accurately, at the top of the Centre Pompidou. Moore is probably the leading British artist of the 20th century.

It was our first visit to the Pompidou this winter and we visited a good part of the permanent collection, specifically that from 1905 to 1965 which is described as dedicated to the founding episodes of modern art. The other major part of the building contains the contemporary collections, which include “not to be missed monumental and immersive artworks”. We’ll come another time to immerse ourselves in those.
