New lens

For my recent big birthday my friends all got me John Lewis vouchers so that I could indulge my self with a new lens. I have bought a 50mm f/1.4 USM , my first ever prime lens so I think it will be a steep learning curve. This is the only vaguely in focus shot I have taken with it. I am putting faces on creme egg covers as you can see!
