The Big Fish Come In
I woke up early (6:47 a.m.), so I headed out for the sunrise. I had planned to stay for about 75 minutes, and then go back to swim class, but it didn't happen.
The big green fishing boat had been out for 2 weeks, and they were back, and were going to unload.
I stayed for 4 hours, took MANY pictures, and missed swim class. Our friend Mike had to hold down the class...along with 10 women.
The big green boat was unloading swordfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, and another fish that I had never heard of.
The unloading process involved 5 people. 2 guys are down in the hatch with the fish (on ice), and hook up the fish. A woman to the right is operating the winch to bring them up, and this young lady (Erica) is guiding them over to the captain, who wrestles them on to a waiting fork-lift.
The captain is pictured in my Extras (working), along with proof that I did see the sunrise.
It is always a little gross to watch, but VERY interesting.
