Garlic on parade
I made it up to the allotment but had forgotten to put my boots in the car, so limited in what I could do. The conventional garlic is growing away now and appears unaffected by the cold weather. The first definite elephant garlic shoot has finally appeared (top left) despite being planted much earlier, but at least I know that hasn't all been eaten.
The daffs in the picking border are throwing up buds as well as leaves, but I definitely need to get some weeding done there and then I can add some more perennials for cutting later in the year.
The jigsaw was a late Christmas present that I was given in Bath last week. 1000 pieces, so that is the evenings sorted for this week and maybe some of next week too.
