Opening the bidding

The things you do when retired …
Today we went to the local auction room to checkout the goods (junk mostly - I know, it’s someone else’s treasure). Mr KT had his eye on a few items but was outbid on all by a couple of guys who seemed to be clearing the place. What are they going to do with it all??
I broke away from the excitement to get coffees from the community centre next door- and bumped in to a couple of pals so joined them for a while. Great cafe - delicious pasteis da natas. I’ll be revisiting that one - looks a handy stop on a bike ride from home!
