The Birks of Aberfeldy
Since wind and rain was forecast for today, we cancelled our plan for an expedition into the hills and instead completed two very easy circular walks. The first was centred on the Birks of Aberfeldy (blipped), and the second to the Falls of Acharn. We saw a red squirrel at each, but not fast enough to photograph. (I also thought I had lost my phone at Acharn, but I had left it in the car.)
After our walks we spent quite a long time in the watermill café and book shop in Aberfeldy.
On our return to the hotel, we played games. Mr hazelh won Azul twice and Scrabble (only just) once.
After last night's extravagance, we will be eating in the bar this evening.
Exercise today: walking (11,082 steps).
