Topsy turvy

I was in the supermarket this morning in amongst the bleaches and washing powders when I heard a group of women emitting sounds of mild hysteria from the direction of the cash tills. On looking round the end of the shopping aisle the cause of their excitement became clear: a large black spider had decided to take his place in the queue and every time it twitched a leg screams were heard from the women! In the end one of the older cash till women picked it up and took it outside much to everyone's relief. Large spiders are not a favourite of mine yet I don't like killing them. It is funny how we get conditioned into experiencing fear over harmless creatures.
