Chickened Out

The intention was to do our ‘long walk’ but Sam sent me an article to read about “Alabama Rot” so we stuck to the roads but missed out the road to the “Point”. It cuts around a third off the walk, maybe close to half,
I think the weekend had taken its toll but we made it round the shortened route. More manageable in his new harness Paddy finally stopped pulling as we arrived just a few houses up from home.
Housework done, recycling out, all of it and dinner on I had time to update the family calendar and respond to some messages before settling down with my book.

Todays photo is the plaque commemorating the 'Castle Drive Races' of the Pendennis Motorcycle and Light Car Club. As it explains the course was a 1.5 mile loop around Pendennis head, the bit Paddy and I missed out.
