Solid as a Rocknerd

The good news chez Booknerd is that M has now finished her chemo treatment (at least for the time being - please keep your fingers crossed!) and is growing stronger by the day in preparation for her upcoming surgery. Whilst she’s feeling a little better I’ve taken the opportunity to visit my dear mum for a few days down in Sussex. It’s so good to see her, having not had the opportunity since September. We speak almost every day on FaceTime but it’s just not the same as being able to give her a hug in person. Today we were joined for lunch by my ever-excellent brother Rocknerd https://www.blipfoto.com/RockNerd It’s always a pleasure to be in his company and the three of us don’t have the opportunity to get together nearly often enough.
