Pit Stop

A short break on our way home. We stopped off at Sutton Bank for a coffee followed by a wander along the Cleveland Way.

This area is what James Herriot described as the best view in England. Whilst we both enjoy the views there are other views that we enjoy as much if not better.

This is the view from the Whitestone cliffs over Gormire Lake. What isn’t shown is the cold breeze blowing on the escarpment which makes the area ideal for Gliders. We were glad to retreat to the warmth of the car.
