Yeah baby she's got it!
Is it a plane coming into land? Is it a space station? Nope, that bright ball in the sky is the planet venus.
The third in the Kirkhill Pillar Project series of blips represents venus's size and transit. You can see the sun art-piece I blipped on Wednesday through the gap in the fence.
Interesting fact for today is that this is the only planet with a female name. That had never dawned on me before now. It is a beautiful cellestial object.
Some additional shots are here .
For tomorrow?s blip I will have to leave the academy behind to travel the immense distance to our home planet.
p.s. 10 internet points for anyone getting today's title ;-)
