A matter of life and death

I’ve got to that age where people younger than me are dying.  Some are friends, some aquaintances - others, heroes of my past.  It’s both shocking and scary.

More though, are older.

RIP Burt Bacharach.  

I have two real favourites; ‘windows of the world’  played by Stan Getz (from Stan Getz plays Bacharach and David) and ‘trains and boats and planes’  sung by Laura Cantrell (from the album of the same name).
