The wedge of water (and it is water) between the rooftops is the 'lake' I blipped in yesterdays extras.

It's the first time I've ever seen the floodwater from our upstairs window. It's not usually this high.

I could have a rant about politicians fiddling while the world drowns, but they won't listen.  Perhaps I should write a letter to the grandchildren saying "Sorry. I did my best".
