Day 041/23. Destruction of an icon.

The Fawley Power Station is now almost completely gone.
A walk past today showed the destruction underway of the only remaining building on the site, the control room. This futuristic building had featured in many films including Rollerball and Mission Impossible.
I thought that this had listed building status and was thus protected. Apparently not.....
My extra picture shows a drone shot of the site as of today.
It's sad to see this local landmark go.
