Arise Sir Prize.

My annual Frogs' Porn watch has started; I don't recall seeing any earlier than St. Valentine's Day.

I slunk out, at a time which would have been after dark a few weeks ago, and gazed at the usual Spawnery - nuffunk.  My eyes travelled down the Pond, seeing, probably, several kg of water "Forget-me-not" = possibly next decent, warm day, job.

What I had NOT expected to see was this, nestling under the Fall, which hasn't "fallen" for most of the Winter.  Alice loved it - and we never actually  got one - until - Clicky presented me with one (un-logged, I think {MUST check}) which I planted about 3m ≈ 10' off-camera to the left of where this is.   I kinda suspect I'd never dream of planting under the Falls?

LOTS of overdue sorting out needed by the look of things?

I've always thought of it as Asplenium Nidus but a wee bit of research suggests it's more likely
 to be >>>--------->Asplenium scolopendrium

As them-over-there are won't to say - "Who knew?":-
"Asplenium is a genus of about 700 species of ferns, "

"Spring, when a young man's fancy turns to whatever it's been too cold to do all winter."

The first flower, of the second flush, took until yesterday to look really bad; ,but, by today was totally anhydrous ≈ 12days from full open to full dead.
