Spires in the Sky

Heading north up the east coast, we pass the Angel of the North, Holy Island, and Bass Rock. A short stop in Berwick taking in Dewars Lane on the Lowry Trail (extra). The blip is the inspirational architecture that is the Forth Road Bridge - looking like Scotlands pyramids in the first extra. (Pleased with these as they were taken on the move, and  dodging a canoe on the roof!) Time in St Andrew’s taking in the history - ruined castle and cathedral, the harbour and the golf course - lots of young people - students  - wild swimming looks like a thing here! - but not for me
