Watching squirrels with Granny

What a beautiful sunny day in Edinburgh. Jacob, Henny and I were in the park by 8.50am. We walked around trucks and made friends with new dogs, before being joined by some old friends for another circuit of the park.

Ali and Corran joined us on our way to Just Dogs, where we decided it was far too nice to go home. Coffee and cake was enjoyed outside The Pantry in the sunshine, followed by a stroll back along the Rocheid Path. Jacob walked much of the way and Henny swam in the river. An energetic morning!

Quick lunch at home then Maureen arrived, so we went to the botanics to make the most of the sunshine. Lovely walk (and snooze for Jacob), disappointing scone and lots of fun watching ducklings and chasing squirrels.

A whole day outside, and despite a tooth clearly bulging through Jacob has been delightful. Amazing what fresh air and glorious sunshine can do for your mood!
