Sun Stripes……

Early sunshine picked out patterns of light
Maisie enjoys this area of the Taylor River Reserve. There are oak trees, different varieties growing on the newly mowed lawns beside the river. Some are already dropping their acorns. Maisie likes to forage and snack on acorns. I am trying to distract her as I believe the current acorns are very early to drop and look quite green to me.
Today I raked the lawns to remove old twigs. I found a very dry flattened rat’s body. Then I mowed the lawns. Very satisfying…….
