At the Physic Garden

A fine day for going to The Physic Garden at Saughton Park.  The gardening calendar has started again and volunteers will be there on alternate Fridays and Saturdays.  20 people turned up, which was super.  We gardened hard and talked hard!  My shade bed was looking good and I split a few plants to fill some spaces-The Epimediums and Euonymus were good candidates for dividing and will give more ground cover.  The snowdrops were out and the native daffodils wont be far behind.
Did some house jobs this afternoon, before welcoming members of the walking group in for cups of tea.
