Slow thaw

There were not many stalls at the market this morning and I don’t blame those who did not turn out as the temperature was -5. The snow has been cleared from the market square but the large pile that remains will still be there for a little while I suspect.

I walked down to the supermarket and back along the river but otherwise it has been a quiet day, watching the rugby in the afternoon and then arriving a little late for ringing as I did not want to miss the end of the match. The Ireland v Wales match was a great encounter. I think Ireland deserved their victory in the end.
