Helford Passage

Fridays have settled into a regular routine, coffee with Richard and Jackie, a weekly shop then home. As the weather gradually improves I use the afternoons to work in the shed on some of the outstanding projects from last year.
This evening I set off to the Ferryboat Inn at Helford passage to meet friend Tony for a couple of pints and a bite to eat.

The Helford River moves down to the sea between The Lizard and Falmouth with quiet beaches and villages like Helford Passage either side. Immortalised by Daphne du Maurier’s book, Frenchman’s Creek, no pirates these days though, just beautiful scenery and beaches.

Great evening, thoroughly enjoyed my meal and Tony’s company. Home by nine for an early night(ish).
