Going, Going, Almost Gone

Breakfast for Mrs S and I at Wetherspoons, no matter what the criticism it’s great value, good food and pretty quick service.
Daffodils from the Prince of Wales Pier “Flower Man” before a quick whizz round Boots.
Another coffee at one of the ‘chains’ before heading home on the bus.
Paddy and I then set off to watch the 2’s playing rugby, great to see rugby played by guys with a smile on their faces, win, lose or draw they are happy, today it was a well earned win over a St Austell side that thought they only had to turn up, 26-12 was a good result.
The news coming in from the 1’s at Paignton wasn’t quite as good, nothing unexpected though. Conceding a converted try about every six minutes of the first half they were 49-0 down at half time with the final result 84-17 on par with the rest of the seasons results.
No bonus point so with only three losing bonus points from the season to date, a points difference of -711, 28 points behind the next club, (Paignton) and 5 games to play it is now mathematically impossible for them to stay up.
The worst of if, no reaction from the ‘old & bold’ at the club other than a shrug of the shoulders.
Home for paella and some binge watching of his dark materials to catch up.

Great Day.
