A busy morning around the house then a walk to the shops, taking a longer route past the bus stops. Plenty of choice at the time if I’d wanted a bus ride. From front to back they were going to Kendal, Coniston (via Hawkshead) and Grasmere.

In the afternoon I checked the car tyre pressures and tidied up around the outside of the house. Mostly twigs and leaves and there are now three old compost bags full to take for recycling.
