The day started wet but with the forecasts promising a sunny morning I put the washer on, hoping that I’d get some things dried outside. Still raining when it finished so I hung everything up to dry inside.

Once the first bit of blue sky appeared the change was quick. I intended to go out as usual after lunch but at one point I was getting frustrated at not being able to solve a puzzle and knew I had to escape. Chatted with my neighbour who was outside gardening then just wandered locally but covered a surprising distance.

This chimney isn’t far from home but I don’t think I’ve ever featured it on blip, possibly because when the light has been good I haven’t had a long enough lens on the camera.
