Queen Victoria is Distorted
Bit of experimentation this evening - not really sure that it works but you never know till you try.
This carved inscription honours Queen Victoria's Jubilee of 1887 and features on the side of a well situated next to the main drag into Brighton - I am sure it is unnoticed by most people (except blippers of course).
It's impossible to get a 'nice' shot of the well since it's next to a bus stop and a set of shops etc. so I thought I would try this.
I used a wide angle lens from a low vantage point and then messed with the distortion control in LR to try and make it interesting ... hmmm.
I also tried it in B&W but it seemed to lose the effect.
Happy weekend everybody.
