Rising To The Top

Still able to find a few frozen spots despite the warming weather. This one in a swampy bit in the shade. Couldn't find any shapes, but the pattern in this group of bubbles interested me. I used Velvia film simulation to bring out the blue.

Overhead in a cottonwood tree, starlings gathered in the last rays of sun making quite a racket. Then all of a sudden it went quiet and I looked up to find they had disappeared.
