By the sea

A lovely sunny day. A late breakfast and a bit of shopping. Eventually we walked down to the sea. Two minutes from the apartment and the girls were into jumping from the promenade and using pebbles to write their names. I think they enjoyed being young children for a while. 

Eventually Grandad persuaded them to walk along to the far end of the promenade and they happened upon ice cream. On the return they decided on another message - well he did buy them ice cream! (extras 1 and 2). This attracted a lot of attention from passers by! 

Later there was some geography tuition and Ella and I watched a video about sewing on sequins and spent a happy sequin hour (Ella's work so far is extra 3 !)


Soon we will walk along to the restaurant for something to eat - we can see as we go whether their pebble work has survived.
