Sze in Singapore

I slept well last night but was still very tired when Bb woke me this morning to say he was going downstairs for breakfast and to remind me when it finished in case I wanted to have something. I managed down for the last 15 mins, and despite walking up hungry, I was keen to have a coffee more than anything. I'd just put a few things on my plate when my friend Sze texted to say  that maybe we should beat the rush lunch hour and meet at her office at 11.30. Mm, that gave me an hour in total to finish my breakfast, shower and get ready. Ok, no problem. I arrived 10 mins late, which I thought was actually OK, considering. 

The years fell away as we chatted. I'd left Budapest in 2009 and she'd visited us in Barcelona here:

I then spent the afternoon wandering around China Town, where Sze's office is, arriving back at our hotel around 6pm, but then went straight out for a wander locally, missing Bb's brief stop at the hotel to drop off his work things, before going out with his Barcelona colleagues. I've just finished dinner in a place nearby that does all day breakfasts from all around the world, recommended by Sze. Wild Ginger. I had the Jerusalem breakfast. Delicious. Sze likes her food and isn't pretentious. I trust her recommendations.
