Cor wot a scorcher! Our thermometer measured the temperature in my front yard as 31 degrees celsius today. I suppose it wasn't technically all in the shade - but nearly. Anyway, it was hot.

More frantic work getting everything ready for the school fair tomorrow. If this is what it's like being part of the team for just one stall, I could certainly never hack it on the PTA organising the whole shebang. Here's hoping for another sunny day tomorrow to get the crowds out and raise some cash for the school. Maybe we should invite Alex Salmond and get him to see what folk are prepared to do to supplement government funding. Harrumph.
