The "New " Beach

I’m very happy to be here!     All is well .   It was a calm dry overcast day which was ideal but to make it even better, our neighbor across the bay was on our dock when we rolled in with the dock cart to help haul our stuff up.    A big help.   

But everything away, had a good hot fire to warm it up and then had a little walk and this is the most astonishing thing…the king tides and wind have almost cleared off the beach…there were huge logs that have been there 20 years or more  and a whole lot of accumulated small stuff (extra) that’s been there forever.   Not exactly the best leading lines.... but now now we have more beach and less seating.  The new steps and the breaker wall are still perfect.   (and notice the limp flags.)   Hope we get some more days like this but don’t expect the lovely spring like weather we used to count on mid February.   Everything is unpredictable.

Am enjoying the quiet .
