More Changes

We haven’t been here since Dec 1 (because I now refuse to come in Dec or Jan because of the weather,) so we weren’t here around New Year’s as we used to be and H is wishing we had been,  to talk to BC Hydro about the trees they were cutting on the edges of their ROW and on our property.   The neighbors sent photos and horrible descriptions and told us our top trail was now gone….so today we went up to access the damage.    Pleasant surprise!!   The trail is clearly there…it’s just in the open now, not in the forest!  And it’s only a small part at the top of our East trail.   They cut a lot more near the neighbors to the south near their cabin.  We had them cut some of it in fireplace lengths so we or anyone who can get to them can at least use part of that wood.   They didn’t cut any trees on our line of 5 poles down from the top…which they have repaired many times.  The high power lines you can see go from the mainland to Vancouver Island.

H thought he had the  part to fix the golf cart which hasn’t worked since the grandsons were here last summer….he and 2 neighbors managed to install it but it still doesn’t run.   Disappointing.    On to the next part.
