Yellow.

Feeling a little wiped out again today so have tried to take it easier, despite wanting to go birdwatching again! Will have to make do with what I spot in the garden!!

But I did manage a bit of garden therapy this morning, got some peonies planted in the ground from their pots, and also pruned some of the front garden rose bushes, one of which belonged to my granddad!  And just one little clump of yellow crocus out there amongst the purple! Adds a bright splash of colour!

And there was drama here last night when there was a mouse in the house! We're not sure how it got in - maybe the friendly neighbourhood cat brought us a pressie! - but it freaked mum out so Dad and I were tasked with the job of evicting it from the lounge! It took about half an hour, and involved some blocking of gaps with objects and towels before he made his way to a towel, climbed up it and dropped in the bowl I'd put by the side! He has now been released out in the front garden so hope he carries on his merry way out there!!  Hopefully the rest of today will be less dramatic!
