Hellebores Niger

Christmas Rose.  Paula bought one about 3 years ago to paint the flowers then I put it in the front border and it is now a fairly big plant but unfortunately now hidden most of the time by the rose bush which grew bigger than I thought it would, but being a winter flowerer we do get to see it this time of the year.

It was pretty breezy this morning very strong gusts of wind, but it dropped about lunchtime and was quite a nice afternoon. We did have a walk in the woods early on and it was quite scary the trees crashing together.

My Great Granddaughter Caitlin came up to see us this afternoon she's 16 and full of life, it wears me out just listening to her lol

She lives most of the time now with her Paternal Grandma and just comes home a couple of times a week to her mums house. Her Gran is recovering from cancer and so she keeps her company.
