The Start and the Finish of .....

..... beautiful wood anemones.

Been up to Mum's today for the monthly hairdresser visit and these are blooming beautifully in her gorgeous cottage garden .... some still in bud, some opening and some almost finished. I liked the contrast between the bud opening and the wide open flower nearly finished.

I used my 70-300 lens as I liked the effect it gives (and it saved me kneeling down to get a close close-up - lol!!!)
