The very first .......

....... flower to open in my Wildflower garden this year!

Not the best of shots .... but this bloom was right at the back & quite a stretch to get close ....... I love the colour ........ very cheering on a grey day (which it is today) ..... do hope you like it :-)

This plant is a perennial ..... most of the others are annuals & are very slow to come up this year ..... again! There are lots of tiny little green shoots ...... just very slow progress. Hopefully they will get a spurt on soon!
