50/365. Waterfall
Amongst other places we visited today was Lake Tarawera, not far from Rotorua. Our friends and daughter met us and took us there.
We had lunch by the lake.
En route we went to the ‘buried village’ which was covered with mud, and ash when Mount Tarawera erupted in 1886 killing over 120 people. Whilst there we saw the waterfall in today’s blip. It’s over 100 feet high and the photo shows about half of it, as it continues on downwards from this point.
It’s so nice of you to keep commenting and starring my blips even though I’m struggling to do the same for yours. Thank you all so much and have a great week x
