Spent Clematis

I am very late loading tonight, no reason really.

The clean up continues, the power and communications coming back to some areas very slowly, fresh water in short supply
Two more deaths today, and expecting more.  Boats are searching the ocean in hope of finding people.  It doesn't sound good.
There are still 3200 unaccounted for, police are working hard to reconcile families.
Gangs and looters (how dare they) are rampant, tempers are frayed, 60 low-lifes have been arrested.

Thanks to everyone yesterday for your love and reponses.....it seems such a lot of people in various countries haven't got any idea of what NZ's North Island is going through.  
One good thing with AlJazeera (international TV news channel) which we happened upon was their news presenter interviewing live one of our Emergency leaders.  It was very well done, this would circulate throughout the world showing NZ's plight!
