Here's looking at you !

I'm very fond of shuggy coos, this one is just along our road.  We hoofed it around the block early this morning, trying to avoid the heat, fail !!

Not a lot to add with regards to Gabrielle's clean up....just the same, metres high silt in buildings and farmlands, forestry slash everywhere, roads unrecognisable (some may not be rebuilt)..... they continue to look for people...we watched police walking up and down rows of grape vines, others through fruit orchards. Tens of thousands still without power, internet, water and of course without homes.  No more confirmed deaths (yet)....family violence apparently is up 60%, looting continuing but police getting on top of that in the main.

We spent some time in the garden this afternoon, we are critically dry.  There isn't a green blade of grass on our lawn.  We've got our fingers crossed for rain on Wednesday.
