A hole in the wall

When walking on the road over the burn it wasn’t difficult to miss a gap in the stone work on the bridge. Judging by the large tyre marks nearby we wondered if a tractor and trailer or lorry hit the side. Can only imagine the poor driver was in shock when hearing the noise.

Extra: a cold, windy, walk to a rock on the corner, the reeds swaying in the wind. It wasn’t long until rain arrived.
