The back border in uncolourful mode.

After church, a bit of baking, getting dinner in the slow cooker and getting all the laundry finished and returned to the relevant drawers and wardrobes (not necessarily in that order), I managed to escape to the allotment.
I was listening to GQT on the way up answering a question about pruning raspberries, so I listened carefully, picked the answer I liked best and did it.  So the raspberries are now pruned and just the gooseberries to do.  I also cleared the dead stalks from the wild/pollinator flower strip, so it is looking much tidier.  
Next step will be weed, feed and mulch.
I returned to digging the bean trench which was half done yesterday.  This bit is being dug as it is full of raspberry cane roots and I also found another current root.  One more session to finish this tomorrow.
