Thank you Waitrose

I had to dive into Waitrose on the way back from church yesterday for a vital cake ingredient and they were giving away their old bunches of flowers to make way for new stock that had arrived.  I soaked them over night and then arranged them this morning.  Not bad for free.  :-)
In more serious news, I finished digging the bean trench behind the picking border (see extra).  I had to admit defeat with one of the currant roots and just lopped it off about 8 inches below ground level and covering it up again. So it doesn't show in the picture and neither do the 6 new daffs that I cut to bring home, yes even more flowers.  :-)
Oops, forgot to plant anything.  Must try harder tomorrow.
