Ramsgate Day 3: Broadstairs Promenade

We set off from Ramsgate mid-morning, and took ourselves along to Broadstairs. It is a rather more beach-holiday-resort-y place, and seems very prosperous; we even found a cafe (Forts) that served us a seriously decent coffee flight (a natural process Ethiopean espresso and piccolo, and a Guatemalan filter coffee)... 
It was a very sunny day, and it was amazing to see people on the beach wearing everything from coats and hats to shorts and t-shirts. The sun was warm, but the wind certainly had an edge to it.
I was pleased to spot some purple sandpipers on a slipway, as well as to see even more turnstones poking around by the beach, and we then spotted a pair of fulmars nesting on a cliff as we walked further along the coast away from the beach.

We then came home via a short amble and a drink by the marina at Conyer.
