Just Passing Through
Spent an hour this morning spotting, identifying and recording birds for the Great Backyard Bird Count . Lucky to see this female Baltimore Oriole, reported as 'uncommon' here in the winter. She is no doubt in migration and just stopped by for a bath and some BarkButter. Orioles are very fond of citrus and some years we put out cut oranges for them. Take a look at the *extras for another shot of Ms Oriole and two of a very cute White-eyed Vireo. They are common here in North Central Florida but are often heard and seldom seen, at least by me. Wishing All a Peaceful Week!
