Bhorogaigh

This small tidal island sits off the NE corner off the bigger island of Baleshare. The name almost certainly comes from the Old Norse borg ey = 'fort island' although there is a problem - there is no obvious fort (probably a circular tower) on the island.
I went out there today for only the second time and this building was on the island high point and in the only cluster of buildings on the island. Looking carefully and with the eye of faith, this could actually have been that original circular fort which has been robbed out to build the more modern farmsteads leaving the hint of an underlying circular structure.
The drone would have helped but it was probably a bit windy.
