Experimenting

I've recently watched a 'millinery photography' tutorial, which recommended that you photograph against a pale grey background to bring out the detail. I'm honestly not sure!  I've uploaded a black and a white as a contrast in extras.

I did have some wonderful news this afternoon in that I have been shortlisted in the Uttlesford Business Awards in the 'Made In Uttlesford' category.  Very pleased! The showcase is on the 8th March, so perhaps I might manage a crocus headpiece by then!
