DWNB A-Z B-Y of Troon and It's Surrounds

I haven't forgotten, I just got distracted. I've done A, I've done Z, I've done B and so this should be Y...... But it was so wet outside... and I was so busy today having coffees and cake that I didn't feel the urge to go to find Yorke Road.

Yorke Road in Troon, is known as "that place where you go to learn to do hill starts". I don't think there is anything on it, it's just a hill, over the Railway line, joining Bentinck Drive and Fullarton Drive. I don't think there is any reason for it, other than learner drivers learning hill starts. It's a very gentle slope and there is no way you couldn't do a hill start. The Hill starts with a three point turn thrown in were slightly more difficult.

I have had coffee and cake twice today; I decided that as Wither's is on Detox it was vital that someone in the country step up to the mark and do cake. The first cake was at the Church Coffee Morning.... Coffee Cake I think it was, with Milky coffee. Nice. And a chat with Mum and Nant.

Then Mum and I did some shopping and then decided we should have more coffee. Barista this time, and milky coffee with, wait for it... Cranberry and Orange Sponge. Oh My God. It was stupendous. Added extra: a little square of tablet on the side of the coffee cup. Lovely.

Then, I went and got Si, and we went and got a spare number plate, and while we were in the motor spares shop, I found the Bike I am going to save up for and get....

And then I realised I hadn't heard from either of my delinquent children today, so I tracked them down, checked they were okay, and came home, and looked at the raindrops on the blossom...
