Look Boy!!! Look!!!

I surpassed my expectations of myself today!

My Boy send me a "Build your own Camera" for my birthday. I looked at the box, and got excited. Opened the box and my wee brain nearly exploded.

Today, I decided to get stuck in.

Oh heavens. There were A Bits and B Bits and C Bits, and pictures showing you how to put them together. Himself stood back and let me get on. I only had to ask for help twice...

I was a bit delighted when I got to the end and had three pieces left over, and was actually able to re-open it, unscrew all the wee screws, insert the bits where they were supposed to go, and got it all back together again.

And it did in fact only take me the 2 -3 hours the box promised; and now I have a 35mm SLR camera.

All I need now is a 35mm film.
